None of the names are in Tamil. The actual Tamil New Year is Pongal thirunaal. <BR/><BR/>This is the story about the current tamil new year.<BR/><BR/>Naradhar went to krishnan and asked for a girl. He told him that "O lord krishna - you are having 60000 wifes - can I have one". So krishna said - go and knock the house - If I am not in the house - you can take the girl.<BR/><BR/>So naradhar went to each and every house. But krishna was inside every house!!!. So naradhar was totally disappointed and prayed to krishna. krishna wanted to help naradhar and became a girl himself. He and naradhar lived happily for 60 years and had 60 children.
